So how does it work exactly?

It’s sort of like a speed dating event. Rural singles show up for a group dinner, where they are seated at tables of six. Prior to arriving, they are asked a number of questions to help matchmakers figure out where to place them.

Tables are then organized based on sexual orientation, age, occupation, background, interests, etc. The dinner starts. Everyone introduces themselves and the evening flows from there. “Our events range in age from 20-70,” Loughman says. “To date we have already set up over 2,000 people on dates with hundreds of successful matches.”
